Makita 5007MG Pros & Cons
The Makita 5007MG is built for all wooden engineering structures such as wall framing, floor joists, and roof framing with the use of engineering specification standard lumbers. It can also be used for non-sturdy wood materials such as thin plywood, OSB and particle board (eg. gypsum board).
You can also use it for plunge and bevel cutting. Impossible as it may seem but you can also use it for masonry and metal cutting. Makita is truly dedicated and committed for a world class and well-engineered power tools.
Despite all the advantages of Makita 5007MG, it would not suffice to just have all the advantages without having some disadvantages. Reviews and actual accounts by its users would state that the power tool is evidently good and outstanding in performance but have a couple of flaws. One disadvantage include the short cable the tool is equipped with.
An extension cord is advisable in cases where power supply is not within reach. Second is that it is designed for right handed individuals. Despite altering the position of the handle to fit a lefty, the face of the saw is not changed therefore the power tool is really for the right-handed person.
Actual review by Big A “hampton’s framer” (Long Island, NY USA):
I purchased a couple of these saws to replace the 8 dewalt 369 saws. The dewalt are garbage, I only use them now as demo saws, or to cut curves on roofs. This saw is much better built and more comfortable to use.
When you have to cut 250 rafters, or 1100 studs for 1st floor heights you need a decent saw. This one is worth it, even though I bought one in a tool store in Southampton and paid $180.00. Looked on amazon and paid $104. No tax and free shipping. So I ordered 5 more.
Makita 5007MG is a power tool that is designed and engineered for faster and convenient cutting. It is a proud product of Makita that you can trust for quality performance cutting. Check out your local stores for a world-class Makita 5007MG or you can browse on-line stores for on-line purchasing.
